1. ABOUT THE MERIDIAN CLUB
The Meridian Club ("The Club," "we," "us," or "our") is a private women's travel and spa club offering curated group experiences including local spa days, overnight weekend retreats, and domestic and international travel. The Meridian Club is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
These Terms govern your use of our website at themeridianclubhq.com, your membership in The Club, and your participation in any event or experience we host.
2. ELIGIBILITY & MEMBERSHIP
The Meridian Club is an exclusively women's club. By registering, you confirm that you are:
- A natural born woman aged 21 years or older
- Legally capable of entering into a binding contract
- Registering on your own behalf and not on behalf of a third party without their express consent
Membership is granted at the sole discretion of The Meridian Club. We reserve the right to decline, suspend, or revoke membership for any reason, including conduct that is inconsistent with the values, culture, or community standards of The Club.
3. EVENT REGISTRATION & CONFIRMATION
Your registration for any Meridian Club event is confirmed upon receipt of your deposit or full payment. Confirmation will be sent to the email address provided at registration. It is your responsibility to ensure your contact information is accurate and current.
Spots are limited for all events. Registration is not transferable to another person without prior written approval from The Meridian Club.
4. PAYMENTS & PRICING
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Payment is due at the time of registration unless a payment plan has been arranged. The Meridian Club reserves the right to adjust pricing for future events at any time.
If you elect a payment plan, you are entering into a legally binding agreement to fulfill all scheduled payments in full and on time. Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details regarding deposits, payment plans, and cancellation terms.
5. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
All cancellations and refund requests are governed by The Meridian Club's Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference and available at themeridianclubhq.com/privacy-policy.
By registering for any event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. ASSUMPTION OF RISK & RELEASE OF LIABILITY
**Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights.**
Travel and wellness activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to: physical injury, illness, allergic reactions, adverse reactions to spa treatments, slip and fall accidents, transportation incidents, and risks associated with travel to unfamiliar locations.
By participating in any Meridian Club event or experience, you voluntarily assume all such risks, whether known or unknown, and agree that:
- The Meridian Club, its founder, employees, contractors, partners, venue providers, spas, hotels, transportation providers, and any other third-party vendors involved in your experience ("Released Parties") shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, death, or expense arising from your participation.
- You are participating voluntarily and have assessed your own physical and mental fitness to participate.
- You waive any and all claims, demands, or causes of action against the Released Parties arising from your participation, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
This waiver applies to all Meridian Club events including but not limited to: spa days, hot spring soaks, sauna and cold plunge experiences, hydrotherapy, overnight trips, international travel, and any group activities organized by The Club.
7. HEALTH & MEDICAL DISCLOSURE
By registering for any Meridian Club event, you confirm that:
- You are in good physical health and know of no medical condition that would prevent your safe participation
- You will inform The Meridian Club in writing prior to the event of any health conditions, physical limitations, allergies, or dietary restrictions that may affect your participation or the safety of others
- You accept sole responsibility for any health-related decisions you make before, during, or after any Meridian Club event
- The Meridian Club is not a medical provider and no event, activity, or communication from The Club constitutes medical advice
If your health status changes between registration and the event date, it is your responsibility to notify us immediately.
8. TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all overnight and destination events. The Meridian Club is not responsible for any costs, losses, or damages incurred due to trip cancellation, interruption, delay, medical emergency, or any other travel-related incident.
We strongly encourage all members to purchase "Cancel For Any Reason" (CFAR) travel insurance at the time of registration. The Meridian Club will not be held responsible for any losses that travel insurance would have covered.
9. THIRD-PARTY VENDORS & SERVICES
Many Meridian Club experiences are facilitated in partnership with third-party vendors including spas, hotels, restaurants, transportation companies, and activity providers. The Meridian Club acts as an organizer and curator and is not responsible for the acts, omissions, negligence, or conduct of any third-party vendor.
Any disputes arising from services provided directly by a third-party vendor should be directed to that vendor. The Meridian Club will make reasonable efforts to assist members in resolving such disputes but makes no guarantee of any particular outcome.
10. CODE OF CONDUCT
The Meridian Club is built on the principles of rest, restoration, and low-demand and desecrate community. All members are expected to conduct themselves with respect, kindness, and consideration for other members and event staff at all times.
The Meridian Club reserves the right to remove any member from an event — without refund — for conduct that is disruptive, harmful, discriminatory, harassing, or otherwise inconsistent with the values of The Club. This includes but is not limited to:
- Harassment or intimidation of other members or staff
- Disruptive behavior that diminishes the experience of others
- Violation of venue rules or local laws
- Any conduct that endangers the safety or wellbeing of others
Removed members will not be eligible for a refund of any kind and may have their membership revoked.
11. PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO & MEDIA RELEASE
Events hosted by The Meridian Club may be photographed or filmed for use in marketing, social media, and promotional materials. By participating in any Meridian Club event, you grant The Meridian Club a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use your likeness, image, and voice captured during events for promotional purposes across all media.
If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, it is your responsibility to notify The Meridian Club in writing prior to the event. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request, but cannot guarantee complete exclusion in group settings.
You may not photograph or film other members without their express consent. Members are expected to respect each other's privacy and right to opt out of being captured on camera.
12. CONFIDENTIALITY & COMMUNITY PRIVACY
The Meridian Club is a private membership community. Information shared within the group including personal stories, health information, financial information, and any other confidential disclosures made by members during events — is to be treated as strictly confidential.
You agree not to:
- Share, reproduce, or disclose personal information about other members without their express consent
- Record private conversations or share recordings of other members without consent
- Use information learned about other members for commercial, social, or any other purpose outside of the natural community connection
Violation of this section may result in immediate membership revocation.
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on themeridianclubhq.com, including text, images, branding, event concepts, and written materials, is the exclusive property of The Meridian Club and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Meridian Club content without prior written permission.
14. HOST CANCELLATION & FORCE MAJEURE
The Meridian Club reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify any event at its sole discretion due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, epidemic, public health emergencies, government restrictions, acts of war or civil unrest, venue closure, or any other unforeseeable event that makes hosting the experience unsafe or impractical.
In the event of a host-initiated cancellation, members will receive a credit toward a future Meridian Club experience valid for one year. The Meridian Club will not be responsible for any ancillary costs incurred by members, including but not limited to: airfare, personal travel bookings, accommodation booked independently, or other out-of-pocket expenses. This is another reason we strongly recommend travel insurance.
15. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
In the event of a dispute arising from these Terms or your participation in any Meridian Club event, you agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting The Meridian Club in writing at contact@themeridianclubhq.com
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in the State of Georgia under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit against The Meridian Club.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Meridian Club's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your participation in any event shall not exceed the total amount you paid to The Meridian Club for the specific event giving rise to the claim.
In no event shall The Meridian Club be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of enjoyment, emotional distress, or loss of opportunity.
17. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Meridian Club and its founder, partners, contractors, and vendors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: your participation in any event, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any applicable law, or your infringement of the rights of any third party.
18. MODIFICATIONS TO THESE TERMS
The Meridian Club reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted to themeridianclubhq.com with a revised effective date. Your continued participation in any Meridian Club event or experience after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
19. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
20. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with The Meridian Club's Refund & Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Meridian Club with respect to your membership and participation in events. They supersede all prior communications, representations, or agreements, whether written or oral.
